Earth-Field is a Cologne-based producer and remixer, who already is an active part of the Cologne music scene since mid of the nineties. The multi-instrumentalist has been member in numerous bands yet and still produces music using diffrent pseudonyms such as a.o.: Dexter Dub, Graue Substanz, F. Botze or Gi-Shin Mission Changdarc .

During the 20 years he has been playing as a DJ he learned many things about music, crowd, people, life and met interesting people. He also collected quite a few records while diggin through diffrent genres, such as: Dub, Dubstep, Trap, Jungle, Drum'n'Bass, Mash-Up, Hip Hop, Reggae, Dancehall, Big Beat, Electro, House, Soul, Funk, Disco, Beat, Jazz and World Music.

But he still wanted to know more about music and go deeper, so he studied musicology and linguistics at the University of Cologne. There he was introduced to the diverse styles of what one could call the roots of all electronic dance music or in general, the origin of electronic music.
Right now the artist Earth-Field focusses on electronic music in varying styles, between Experimental Electronic, Soundart, music with noises and Techno not necessarily being bound to harmonic or tight metric structures.
